November 2016 Board Meeting

We met November 9 to review applications for assistance and upcoming plans for the winter season. We approved a $750 donation to the Salida Community Thanksgiving Dinner. This donation pushed the year’s total donations by the board in 2016 to more that $20,000 for the first time in one calendar year! The annual Thanksgiving event is hosted at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and provides a classic Thanksgiving dinner to members of the community.  The event is free and will take place on November 24 from Noon until 3pm in the gym of the Parish Center located at 320 East 5th Street in Salida.

Our next meeting will be December 14, 2016.
